Highland Pantry started the way most good things do — slowly, and around a kitchen table. A few sourdough loaves for neighbors. A dozen eggs traded across the fence. A jar of honey from the hives by the south pasture.
Today we're a working Texas ranch, a daily bakery, and a small farm stand just outside Austin. We raise Highland cattle, gather eggs at sunrise, pull bread from the oven before lunch, and welcome visitors most weekends.
This Journal is our way of letting you in — recipes from our kitchen, updates from the ranch, the stories behind the seasons, and the people who make Highland Pantry feel like home.
Pull up a chair. We're glad you're here.
